The Microsoft AI Training Program introduces students ages 14–24 to the world of artificial intelligence through practical, beginner‑friendly activities. Participants learn how AI works, how it’s used across industries, and how to apply Microsoft’s AI tools to create content, analyze information, automate tasks, and design innovative solutions. This program builds digital confidence, creativity, and career‑ready skills that young people can use in school, work, and entrepreneurship.

Participants train to receive FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.

The Drone Pilot Training Program introduces students ages 16–24 to the fast‑growing world of drone technology. Participants learn how drones are used in industries like filmmaking, construction, public safety, agriculture, real estate, and environmental science. Through guided instruction and supervised flight practice, students build confidence, technical skill, and career awareness while preparing for advanced opportunities in aviation and technology.

The Podcast Creation & Media Production Program introduces students ages 14–24 to the world of podcasting through real‑world practice and guided instruction. Participants learn how to develop show concepts, write scripts, record high‑quality audio, edit episodes, and publish content across major platforms. The program blends creativity, technical skill‑building, and teamwork — giving youth the confidence to share their voices and build a media brand of their own.

The Youth Entrepreneurship Program empowers students ages 14–24 to explore business ownership through real‑world practice, mentorship, and project‑based learning. Participants learn how to identify problems, design solutions, build products or services, and pitch their ideas with confidence. Whether students dream of launching a clothing brand, a tech startup, a food business, or a community‑focused service, this program gives them the tools to begin building their future now.

Discover Works / NB2S program offers rising 10th graders a free, 4-hour a day summer learning experience focused on strengthening skills in English Language Arts and Math. Students participate in academic enrichment each day for six weeks, supported by certified instructors and youth friendly learning activities. The program provides free breakfast and lunch and blends daily ELA and math instruction with a wide range of enrichment opportunities—including STEM, arts, recreation, digital literacy, career exploration, and field trips. This whole child approach keeps students engaged, builds confidence, and supports both academic growth and personal development throughout the summer.

The GDYT / NB2S Program offers meaningful summer employment
opportunities for Detroit youth ages 14–24. Through partnerships across
the city, NB2S connects participants to Detroit’s leading industries and
provides real-world work experiences that build confidence, skills, and
career awareness. Youth engage in hands-on job placements, interactive
workshops, skill building sessions, and project-based learning. Throughout the summer, participants learn how different careers operate, meet professionals, and explore pathways that align with their interests. The program supports youth as they prepare for high school’s most important academic and developmental years and begin shaping their long-term career goals.
